Most retailers have heard about the importance of employee recognition, but few truly harness its power in their own store. They've heard that it's important to treat employees well and they know that it seems to make sense that they'll never get an employee to treat a customer better than that employee is being treated themselves. Yet 85% of today's workers report they are overworked and underappreciated.
